Causes of Stress
Harmonious, calm, conflict-avoidant, and peace-loving Nines experience stress when they have to engage in conflict, when their accustomed routine is disrupted, when they feel excluded or ignored, or when they are pressured and intervened upon. Being hurt, forced to make important decisions, feeling inadequate, and being subjected to pressure and interference are also stress factors for them.
When faced with stress, they initially experience tension and try to ignore the causes of stress. Later, they withdraw into their shells, try to suppress their anger, and distract themselves. When stress persists for a long time, they transition to displaying the negative characteristics of temperament type 6.
At Stress Points Nines
During stressful periods, Nines become anxious, skeptical, uncooperative, and oppositional. They don't want to do anything and avoid physical activities.
They deviate from their usual harmonious and compromising nature and may act reactively, angrily, stubbornly, and defensively. They may exhibit reactive behaviors and unexpected actions, make irrational judgments and accusations, and become sarcastic and contrary. They may be self-blaming and aggressive towards themselves.
During this time, they feel cowardly, disillusioned, anxious, and resentful. They don't know exactly what they want. They start to behave pessimistically and hopelessly, losing faith that things will improve. They feel exhausted and weak, and they may become accusatory.
They believe that everything will get worse, and problems will never end.
Factors Facilitating Growth
They find relief when they integrate and harmonize with their environment, achieve physical comfort, increase their self-confidence through success, feel valued, and perceive themselves as competent. When Nines relax, they display the positive characteristics of temperament type 3.
In Their Comfort Zones Nines
In comfortable periods, Nines become energetic and lively. They act more decisively, confidently, and determinedly. They express themselves more comfortably and largely overcome their shyness.
They focus on their own desires and begin to exhibit independent behaviors. When faced with an undesirable situation, they express it and say no more comfortably. They also express positive emotions and thoughts more comfortably.
Their motivation increases, and they act more readily, not giving up in the face of problems.
They begin to think practically, quickly, and result-oriented. They set goals for themselves and take action to achieve them.
